Highbrow LLC is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a focus on AI/ML for a long-term, W2 position in Austin, Texas. This is an onsite role and requires US Citizenship. Supply chain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for data-driven problem-solving, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate raw data into meaningful KPIs and actionable insights. This involves working closely with a data engineer and another data scientist to optimize inventory across the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with clients to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Developing and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and AI-driven solutions.
• Designing interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, data engineers, and product managers).
• Utilizing Python, R, and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and solution development.
• Continuously exploring and applying new analytical techniques to improve business outcomes.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management analytics is a plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity, proactiveness, and the ability to work independently (self-starter).
• Passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to learn.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and machine learning.
• Experience with Snowflake, including data extraction, analytics, and reporting.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and data visualization.
• 2+ years of Data Science experience is required.
