Job Description: Graphic and Animation Designer Internship (Unpaid, Remote)
GroupChats seeks a proactive, self-sufficient, and deadline-oriented Graphic and Animation Designer to contribute to their social media presence and branding. This is an unpaid, remote internship ideal for students or those seeking early-stage startup experience. While flexible in terms of scheduling, meeting deadlines is crucial. This role requires someone who can work independently and manage their own time effectively.
Responsibilities:**
• Conceptualization and Design: Brainstorming and developing visual ideas for social media content; creating multiple design iterations (at least three); designing layouts for various platforms; selecting and implementing appropriate design elements (colors, typography, imagery) with a focus on user experience.
• Software and Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including CapCut, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge of the latest design trends and techniques.
• Collaboration and Communication: Incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders; collaborating effectively with other team members, including the founder and user community.
• Production and Delivery: Preparing final artwork for social media and potential print production, ensuring accuracy in color, text formatting, and image scaling; maintaining brand consistency across all designs; staying current with design trends to produce innovative and relevant content.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a graphic designer.
• Previous experience as an animation/multimedia designer.
• Ability to start immediately.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory.
• Startup experience is a plus.
