Job Description: Senior Graphic Designer

Rhoback seeks an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creation and oversight of creative assets across all media channels. This role reports directly to the Creative Director and is based in Charlottesville, VA. The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining and elevating Rhoback’s brand image as the company continues its rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

Email Marketing: Collaborate with the email team to design engaging and informative emails using graphics, photography, and motion graphics (if applicable). This includes selecting photos, creating layouts, and ensuring brand consistency. The designer will also contribute to email growth initiatives through visually compelling designs.

Digital Marketing: Create visually striking digital ad graphics for various platforms, often adapting existing email assets for optimal performance.

Print Collateral: Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and creative teams to design print materials such as mailers, catalogs, and line books, ensuring brand consistency and high visual quality.

Web Design: Work with the website team to create all website graphics and layouts for seasonal campaigns and product releases.

Branding: Collaborate with the Creative Director to maintain and evolve the brand voice and vision. The designer will be involved in brainstorming innovative ways to tell Rhoback’s story visually. This includes maintaining brand consistency across all channels.

Social Media: Collaborate with social media coordinators to align creative assets for organic social media posts, including content related to new athletes and lifestyle photography.

Qualifications:

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong digital-first design background with a solid understanding of print design principles.
Motion graphics skills are a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience with consumer brands.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge conventions while adhering to brand standards.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
