Job Description: Legal Intern
This internship offers direct support to Dragonfly’s legal team, focusing on ensuring a comprehensive and streamlined deal flow process. Interns will work alongside leading experts in both cryptocurrency and law, assisting some of the most prominent companies and token projects in the crypto space.
The role demands comfort with flexible and entrepreneurial work environments and a desire for rapid career advancement. While a summer internship is possible for the right candidate, the primary expectation is a Fall 2025 start. The internship is paid ($18.75-$22.50/hour, 20 hours/week), and while course credit is not required, Dragonfly will assist in securing it if needed.
Functional Responsibilities:
• Provide general support to the legal team.
• Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Review existing agreements for compliance.
• Assist in revising and updating standard agreements.
• Participate in reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and negotiating various contracts, including financing documents and vendor agreements.
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship from Dragonfly.
• Ability to work remotely and provide your own computer.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to tackle complex and ambiguous legal issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and professional discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills, coupled with a strong work ethic.
• Self-accountability and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tasks, correcting errors, and learning from mistakes.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
