Hitachi Energy offers 12-week, full-time, paid summer internships across the United States for students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees. The internships are designed to be a significant learning experience, treating interns as integral team members. Interns are assigned projects impactful to both the organization and their professional growth. They are encouraged to challenge existing norms and contribute meaningfully to solving current and future energy challenges. Given Hitachi Energy’s global reach, interns may have the opportunity to collaborate with international teams on projects affecting worldwide customers.

Hitachi Energy is specifically seeking candidates with an engineering background (Electrical or Industrial Engineering) for their summer 2025 internships, commencing in May. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, and be comfortable working across cultures. Existing work authorization permitting employment in the United States is mandatory.
