Job Description:

This position offers a challenging role with significant opportunities for professional growth within the Engineering & Technology Finance department at Lockheed Martin. The work is described as hands-on and involves interacting directly with engineers and the technical community. The role utilizes various funding sources (“all colors of money”).

Daily Responsibilities: The successful candidate will assist with:

• Contract set-up and management
• Cost control and analysis
• Proposal preparation
• New Business Acquisition Expenditures (NBAE) management
• Critical staffing support for the Engineering & Technology function

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in budget planning and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Aptitude for facilitating results, a self-starter attitude, process orientation, and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in budgeting, estimating, workforce planning, development, and production contracts.

Security Clearance:

• This position requires a government security clearance and US citizenship is mandatory. The required clearance level is Secret.

Work Arrangements:

Remote Work: Part-time remote telework is permitted; the specific schedule will be determined during the hiring process.
Work Schedule: A 4×10-hour day schedule (3 days off per week) is offered. Lockheed Martin also supports other flexible work schedules.
