Padlet is a software company building tools for a good education, defined as one that inspires curiosity, creativity, and community. Their software facilitates visual content creation and collaboration, used in millions of classrooms globally. They boast 40 million users, making it one of the most widely used apps worldwide. The company is venture-backed, fiscally responsible, and aims for long-term sustainability (100 years). Padlet is relatively small (around 60 people), leading to a high impact per employee. Job Description: Digital Learning Specialist

This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco. The Digital Learning Specialist will be responsible for spreading awareness and adoption of Padlet within the education sector. Key responsibilities include:

Professional Development: Delivering both remote and in-person professional development sessions for 30-50 educators per session. Training needs to be customized to align with individual school and district learning objectives.
Online Webinars: Developing and leading online webinar sessions. This also involves coordinating with external trainers for global reach.
Educational Marketing Content: Creating various marketing materials including content collections, website features, newsletters, and social media posts.
Course Development & Instructional Guides: Developing online video courses, instructional guides, and use case examples for teachers. This requires leveraging data and research on current educational trends.
Conferences: Attending education technology conferences and presenting sessions for teachers.
Trainer Community Engagement: Building and nurturing relationships with a community of educators to facilitate Padlet integration and gather user feedback.
Collaboration: Working closely with Customer Operations, Sales, and Product teams to meet customer needs and provide feedback to inform product development.

Qualifications:

4+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 or Higher Education setting.
Expertise with various web-based educational technology tools.
Experience leading professional development sessions for teachers, employing adult learning best practices.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing priorities.
