Job Description: Energy & Power Solutions Internship:
Jacobs’ Energy & Power Solutions team is expanding to address the challenges of decarbonization and create a cleaner, more secure energy future. This internship offers a meaningful career opportunity in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
• Support engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for energy and power projects.
• Progress from basic to more complex design tasks within a technical team.
• Engage with clients, evaluate their energy needs, and develop concept-level plans and solutions.
• Work on projects providing innovative solutions to client challenges locally and globally.
• Contribute to the complete, accurate, and timely delivery of assigned work.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Interest in power distribution and generation
• US Citizenship
Ideally, candidates will also have:
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD)
• Prior design or consulting internships
• Experience in a corporate engineering environment
• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or be on track to obtain one
Compensation and Benefits:
• Posted Salary Range: $55,600.00 – $84,150.00 (Individual pay is determined by location and experience).
