Job Description: Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will be centrally involved in analyzing Legal Collections programs and opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

Data Analysis: Using data extraction tools, the analyst will conduct in-depth analyses to understand program performance and identify opportunities for improvement. This involves profitability, performance, and variance analysis.
Reporting: Crafting and overseeing reports to pinpoint trends, challenges, and potential avenues for growth. The role requires identifying and communicating key insights from data.
Recommendation & Strategy: Based on analytical findings, the analyst will propose improvements to enhance business profitability and operational processes. This includes developing strategies for implementing recommended changes.
Technical Skills: The position requires proficiency in SQL and Excel, with a focus on designing and executing queries to extract and manipulate data.
Internal Consulting: The Business Analyst will act as an internal consultant, proposing innovative strategies and ideas to improve business outcomes.
Collaboration: Presenting analytical findings and collaborating effectively with other team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
0-2 years of experience in an analytical/quantitative role (or equivalent education and experience).
Experience designing and running queries.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Relevant internships in financial or corporate settings.

Compensation:

Annual salary ranges from $82,500 to $107,200, depending on location, experience, skills, and competencies. The role also includes eligibility for uncapped commissions or annual bonuses.
