Job Description: Summer Internship Program (Supply Chain Focus)
Dal-Tile is offering a paid summer internship program (May 19th – August 15th) at their Dallas Corporate office. This in-person internship provides hands-on experience in the tile manufacturing industry, specifically within supply chain and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supply Chain Optimization: Participate in projects to optimize supply chain processes and workflows.
• Process Improvement: Utilize analytical skills to assess and improve existing operational procedures; identify and implement improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Data Analysis: Perform data entry and analysis to support decision-making.
• Shadowing: Shadow supply chain professionals to gain insights into logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• SAP/EWM Support: Assist with tasks related to SAP/EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), including data updates and system configurations.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
