About Mast-Jägermeister US, Inc. and the Summer Finance Internship:
Mast-Jägermeister US, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Finance Intern. This is a hybrid internship (in-office and remote) based in their White Plains, NY headquarters, ideal for finance, accounting, or business students or recent graduates. The internship offers hands-on experience in the financial operations of a major spirits company.
Job Description:
The Finance Intern will gain practical experience in various aspects of financial management, working closely with the finance team and contributing to meaningful projects. Responsibilities include:
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data from SAP and other financial tools; preparing budget analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
• Month-End Close: Assisting with month-end close activities.
• Expense Management: Helping manage Travel & Expense (T&E) processing.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Supporting the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Key Learning Opportunities:
• Developing skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within the alcohol industry.
• Gaining insight into the operations of a major spirits company’s finance department.
• Improving proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (SAP experience preferred).
• Learning how to identify risks and opportunities in budget analysis.
• Networking with professionals across the organization and interacting with the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited finance, accounting, or business program.
• Demonstrated interest in financial analysis, corporate finance, or the alcohol industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software or tools (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP systems preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age (alcohol industry regulation).
