Job Description: Agronomy Intern (Langdon, ND, Spring 2025)

CHS is seeking Agronomy Interns for their Langdon, ND location for the Spring 2025 semester. These internships offer a competitive pay and a great learning environment with long-term growth opportunities. Interns will work closely with customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and information.

Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills, including:
• Scouting
• Crop protection products
• Crop nutrient products
• Seed
• Custom application procedures
• Mixing procedures
• Truck driving and product delivery
• Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory.
• Manage and perform periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment (legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc.).
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Maintain a work environment compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Compensation: CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage and potentially bonus, incentives, and commissions (depending on the position). Actual pay will vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
