Job Description: Summer 2025 Internship – Transportation Engineering (Oklahoma City, OK)
This internship is a full-time, in-office position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Interns will work under the supervision of professional engineers on projects impacting local and wider communities. While specializing in one engineering discipline, interns will gain exposure to other technical practice areas within the firm. The program is designed to provide both practical experience and networking opportunities. Interns will connect with the young professionals employee resource group, Rise & Thrive, through company-wide events.
Responsibilities:
• Perform specific, limited tasks within larger assignments.
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques.
• Assist project managers as needed.
• Collect, adjust, and correlate data; perform calculations; and identify discrepancies in results.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in one of the following majors:
• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Water Resource Engineering
• Biological and Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering
• Structural Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering
• Geological Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering (Water Transmission & Utilities only)
• Expected graduation date of August 2025 or later.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Excel, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, or GIS.
• Involvement in student organizations.
