Job Description: Finance Internship (Summer 2024)
This is a 10-week summer internship program offering real-world experience and networking opportunities with company leaders.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
• Introduction to Coca-Cola Systems: Gain an understanding of the Coca-Cola System, North America Operating Unit, and corporate and commercial finance practices, systems, and tools.
• Financial Analysis Support: Provide support in monthly, quarterly, and annual Bottler and/or customer revenue and cost planning processes. This involves analyzing financial data and contributing to forecasting.
• Financial Modeling Support: Contribute to financial modeling for special projects and initiatives. This likely involves creating and manipulating spreadsheets to project financial outcomes under various scenarios.
• Project Support for Modernization: Participate in projects focused on modernizing, automating, and digitizing reporting and financial tools and systems. This suggests involvement in improving efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and financial skills are essential, including a solid understanding of business financial metrics (price, cost of goods, margin, etc.).
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is required; advanced skills are highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders are crucial.
• The ability to review financial information, draw insights, and communicate findings effectively is vital.
• Experience in managing data, complex worksheets, and financial calculations is necessary. A general understanding of financial terms and methodologies is expected.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint is also required.
• A strong background in Mathematics, Finance, Data, and Data Analytics is highly beneficial.
• Experience: Practical work or project experience utilizing the skills listed above is a plus. This could include internships, personal projects, or coursework.
Functional Skills: The internship will develop and utilize skills in: Automation of Financial Processes, Financial Analysis & Modeling, and Fact-Based Storytelling.
