Job Description: 2025 Internship Program
Publicis Media offers a 10-week, 40-hour-per-week summer internship program starting June 2nd, 2025. The program provides a fast-paced immersion into the media industry. Interns will assist with client and agency tasks, learning fundamental media concepts and utilizing company systems like Ad*Views, Media Tools, the Source, MRI Applications, TARDIIS, and MBOX.
Intern Responsibilities:
• Daily Tasks: Assisting team members with client and agency tasks, gaining familiarity with media terminology and calculations.
• Specialized Area: Interns are assigned to an area based on their interests and skills. These areas include:
• Media: Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies across various media channels.
• Multicultural Media: Creating communication strategies specifically for Hispanic, African American, and Asian communities in the US.
• Data & Analytics: Designing, developing, and maintaining data analysis and reporting for clients across media types (requires comfort with math and statistics).
• Research: Conducting consumer research, campaign accountability studies, and proprietary research (strong analytical skills preferred).
• Strategy: Integrating communication planning across all channels, leveraging digital, analytics, and human experience design.
• Content: Working with agency and client teams to strategically utilize content creation as a business driver.
• Human Resources: Supporting the internship program through event planning, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management.
• Corporate Communications: Managing internal and external branding, events, and communication initiatives.
• Project Work: Interns will work on a project aligning with their passions and adding value to the organization.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Working closely with a team, mentor, and other interns. Participating in training sessions and networking events.
• Presentation: Presenting the final project to Publicis Media leadership.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree (target graduation date of Spring 2026 or Winter 2025) or possessing transferable skills from prior work experience.
• Demonstrated interest in advertising, technology, analytics, research, or a related field.
• Proficiency in basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle ambiguity.
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
Additional Information:
• The internship is a hybrid model, requiring a physical office presence 3 days per week.
• Compensation: $18-$20/hour (subject to change).
• Potential for participation in a freelancer/temporary employee medical plan and 401(k) plan (after meeting eligibility requirements).
