Job Description: Wealth Management Intern (Irvine, CA)
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in the global wealth management and financial services industry. The role is designed to be a learning experience, lasting a maximum of ten months.
Responsibilities:
• Gaining industry and organizational knowledge through daily tasks and assignments.
• Developing business, financial, and analytical skills relevant to a career in wealth management.
• Providing marketing and sales support to branches and their teams.
• Conducting market research.
• Gaining exposure to wealth management business, products, services, and client financial needs.
Requirements:
• High school diploma (pursuit of a college degree is preferred).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to learn about the global wealth management business.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills and interpretive abilities.
Compensation:
• Expected base pay: $15 – $20 per hour at the start of employment. The actual base pay will be determined individually.
• Total compensation may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short and long-term incentive packages, as well as Morgan Stanley-sponsored benefits.
