Job Description: Supply Chain & Operations Co-op/Intern (Summer – Fall 2025)

This job description covers multiple openings in various departments within Honda’s Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Operations areas. The positions are for a co-op/internship running from May to December 2025, with options for single or multi-semester placements. Sponsorship for employment visa status is unavailable.

Responsibilities: Projects are hands-on and avoid stereotypical intern tasks. Examples include:

Cost Planning: Creating cost management databases and analysis tools (Excel, Access); preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs); analyzing quotes for accuracy; comparing costs to standards and targets.
• Other projects may involve developing new tests, designing systems, traveling to suppliers, or serving as a project manager.

Work Environment: The work environment and specific project assignments vary depending on the department and location.

Locations: Positions are available in: Marysville, Anna, Raymond, East Liberty, Russells Point, and Troy, Ohio; and Greensburg, Indiana.

hourly Wage Range: $20.45 – $27.42 (based on various factors).

Requirements:

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• General Business Coursework.
Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (transcript required).
Sophomore (by credit hour) or above class standing.
Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License (exceptions considered).
Reliable transportation to and from work (public transportation and ride-sharing are limited in some locations).
• Regular in-person attendance is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Engineering classes.
