Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship – Workforce Solutions

This is a pipeline requisition for a 12-week paid summer internship program starting in 2025. The internship is designed to provide students with real-world experience applying classroom learning to challenges within HP, Inc. The program offers a balance of networking opportunities, executive speaker sessions, community involvement, significant projects, and social events.

Team: The internship will be within HP Workforce Solutions (HPWS), a global business unit that helps organizations leverage technology to improve employee experience, productivity, and global footprint. HPWS utilizes HP’s portfolio of PCs, printers, and collaboration tools to provide software and services to partners and end users across the device lifecycle. This includes a Workforce Experience Platform, managed and professional services, and customer support.

Responsibilities: Interns will contribute to real projects, not just administrative tasks. Specific tasks will be determined based on the needs of the team, however, the work will provide opportunities to apply strong analytical, modeling, and research skills. Strong presentation skills, both in terms of development and delivery, are highly valued.

Qualifications:

Required: Completion of the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or the 1st year of a Master’s program (typically in a non-technical field). Full-time enrollment at an accredited university is mandatory. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US in 2025 and not require future work authorization sponsorship (no CPT or OPT support provided).
Preferred: Majors/programs in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance. Proven project experience demonstrating strong analytical, modeling, and research skills. Excellent executive-level presentation skills (storyboarding, development, and delivery). A history of success in cross-functional team settings. Ability to manage ambiguity and unstructured work situations. Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to lead executives and peers through logical reasoning and relationship building. Excellent public speaking and workshop/conversation facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence others. Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

The internship offers the possibility of conversion to a full-time role after the internship, pending performance evaluation and available headcount. The full-time role will not offer work authorization sponsorship.
