Job Description: Graduate Program (Underwriting)
Allianz Commercial is seeking recent university graduates for a 12-month Graduate Program (starting early August 2025) designed to cultivate the next generation of insurance professionals. The program blends structured learning with hands-on experience, providing a broad understanding of the insurance industry and specialized underwriting skills.
Key Responsibilities and Program Elements:
• Structured Learning and On-the-Job Experience: The program balances classroom-style learning with practical application within the company.
• Comprehensive Skill Development: Participants gain industry knowledge, functional expertise, and essential personal/professional skills.
• Varied Tasks: The role involves both independent projects and collaborative teamwork on regular and ad-hoc tasks that directly contribute to departmental success.
• Mentorship and Networking: Opportunities to connect with senior leaders, technical experts, clients, and other program participants globally.
• Hybrid Work Environment: A balance of in-office and remote work is offered.

Requirements:
• Recently completed university degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Degree focus, mindset, and/or aptitude for insurance (prior internship or related experience preferred but not required).
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Eligibility to work in the US or Canada.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Annual salary of $80,000 (base pay range varies based on factors like location, experience, and skills).
