Job Description: Summer Internship – Power Team at LNG (2025)

Constellation is seeking highly motivated engineering or related discipline students for paid summer internships in their Power Team at LNG, lasting approximately 10 weeks from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.

Internship Responsibilities: Interns will work on specific projects designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor. Past projects have included:

• Investigating corrosion sources in water systems
• Exploring innovative options for repairing water piping
• Designing changes to liquid level instruments in pressure vessels
• Conducting safety valve maintenance and inspection analysis
• Installing wireless amp current meters
• Working on an aqueous copper removal pilot project

Departments Involved: Fleet Operations & Support, Engineering, Corporate Tech, Maintenance, Operations, and Hydroelectric.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled (Fall 2024) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Data Science/Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability & Energy, or a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in plant technology, Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation & Control Technology, or a related field.
Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major
• Outstanding academic performance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Legal Authorization to Work: Must be able to lawfully work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship. Constellation will not provide visa sponsorship.
