Job Description: Intern / Trainee in Tax Services:
This internship offers a chance to work within PwC’s tax practice, contributing to various engagement phases. Responsibilities include:
• Tax Research and Analysis: Researching, analyzing, and applying tax laws, rules, and regulations; drafting memorandums to support decisions and solutions.
• Project Support: Assisting on select projects within the tax team.
• Teamwork and Initiative: Demonstrating creative thinking and initiative as a team member; proactively seeking guidance and feedback.
• Task Prioritization: Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
The role emphasizes developing skills in:
• Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication in both Chinese and English is crucial.
• Problem Solving: Supporting the team in solving complex business issues, from strategy to execution.
• Data Analysis: Handling, manipulating, and responsibly analyzing data and information.
• Professionalism: Adhering to professional standards and the firm’s code of ethics.

Job Requirements & Preferences:
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, minimum 3.0 GPA, fluency in Chinese and English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Applicants ideally in their 3rd or 4th year of a relevant degree program. Prior experience researching business and industry trends to develop viewpoints for proposals, and experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment. Meeting educational requirements for CPA licensure (150 credit hours) before full-time employment is preferred.
