Job Description: 2025 Summer Intern – Frito-Lay HQ Supply Chain

This 10-week internship at Frito-Lay’s Plano, TX headquarters offers undergraduates a real-world supply chain experience. The program aims to leverage students’ academic knowledge in a business setting, culminating in a presentation to the leadership team. The role requires self-direction, motivation, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Interns will gain management skills and execute key leadership decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
• Report findings to team members and management.
• Support various project management lifecycle components (business case analysis, requirements, software design/testing/deployment, issue management).
• Work on large-scale projects, managing time and effort independently.
• Utilize statistical modeling and develop reporting tools.
• Potential projects include: robotic studies, seasoning studies, data analysis, equipment selection and testing, labor improvement, transportation optimization, comparative cost analysis, customer service partnerships, safety initiatives, and process optimization.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly pay range is $21.50 – $40.19/hour, determined by role, degree, and location. This is a pre-determined, non-negotiable rate.
