Job Description: Technology Undergraduate Intern
This is a 10-week, “best-in-class” internship program offering exposure to a specific line of business and real-world experience to complement education. The program focuses on emerging technologies within the financial industry, showcasing how technology drives business capabilities, creates competitive advantages, and reimagines the customer experience.
Interns will be assigned to a project within PNC Technology, emphasizing rapid development principles and innovative tactics. The internship offers hands-on experience in one of the following areas:
• Data & Analytics
• Security
• Software Engineering
• Technology Operations
Interns will utilize cutting-edge technology and next-generation tools to protect PNC and its assets. Past projects included machine learning development, process automation, infrastructure provisioning, and external API servicing. PNC seeks interns who bring fresh perspectives to existing processes. Job Profile:
The intern will participate in PNC’s summer internship program, assisting with core group activities by applying learned knowledge to drive business results. This may include deal support, sales support, process support, internal/external customer interaction, or support for internal projects. The intern will work under supervision with limited approval/exception authority. The role also includes participation in social learning activities, such as networking, mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach.
