About the R&D Leadership Development Internship Program:
This is a 12-week summer engineering internship within the Research & Development Leadership Development Program (RDLDP) focusing on Product Research and Development. Interns will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, technologically advanced environment. The program aims to develop engineers for careers in medical device businesses and high-volume manufacturing.

Intern Responsibilities:
• Work in a technologically advanced corporate environment.
• Learn about anatomy, disease states, deformities, and related surgical procedures and products.
• Contribute to the design, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of new products or product modifications.
• Assist in developing advanced materials, process improvements, risk management, and/or mechanical testing.
• Utilize solid modeling for product design, creating drawings and tolerance analyses.
• Familiarize oneself with design control documentation required by regulatory bodies.
• Present learnings and development experiences to leadership.
