Job Description: Machine Learning Engineer Internship (Adobe Firefly)
Adobe seeks a Machine Learning Engineer intern to contribute to the advancement of customer experiences through AI and generative technologies within the Adobe Firefly applied research organization. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals building Firefly models, from initial research to final production. Interns can choose roles at various stages of the development pipeline, impacting the training and integration of Firefly’s production models.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to research and development efforts applicable to Adobe product development.
• Aid in the integration of novel research into the Adobe Firefly product.
• Lead and collaborate on cross-team projects.
• Pursue results-oriented research goals, defining intermediate milestones.
• Contribute to pioneering data, models, applications, and scientific evaluations that shape the future of image, video, language, and multimodal models.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled full-time in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of experience in computer vision, natural language processing, or machine learning.
• Experience with Generative AI.
• Proven ability to communicate research findings to both peers and wider audiences.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in team settings.
• Proficiency in Python and common machine learning development toolkits.
• Availability for a full-time internship between May and September.
