Position Title: Summer 2025 Intern – Finance Operations Associate
Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA
Start Dates: Three options are available:
• Group 1: May 19 – August 8
• Group 2: June 2 – August 22
• Group 3: June 16 – September 5
Role Overview: The Salesforce Finance organization comprises various teams providing insights into the company’s financial performance. As a Finance Intern, you’ll directly collaborate with global teams, influencing Salesforce’s present and future. Responsibilities include assisting managers across different departments (Controllership, Revenue Operations, Finance & Strategy, Treasury, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and the Office of the CFO). Tasks range from financial statement review and analytics, business compliance audits, and accounting to operational process improvements and fostering team connections. The internship offers a fast-paced, challenging environment providing valuable professional experience, a supportive intern community, professional development, and exposure to Salesforce’s innovative culture.
Minimum Requirements:
• Current Junior/Rising Senior undergraduate student graduating Winter 2025 – Summer 2026, majoring in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Completed or currently enrolled in coursework in accounting, corporate finance, economics, management, strategy, business operations, or a similar area.
• Interest in a postgraduate career in accounting, business, finance, or project management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leaders and large groups.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets modeling and data analytics skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to skill development.
• Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive.
Preferred Requirements:
• PowerPoint/Google Suite presentation skills.
• Complex problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
• Passion for process improvement and challenging the status quo.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate task completion.
