Job Description: External Audit Intern/Trainee
This entry-level internship offers the opportunity to participate in various phases of financial statement audits and support projects within PwC’s core audit services. Interns will work as part of a team, collaborating on complex business issues and contributing to the problem-solving process. The role involves:
• Supporting Financial Statement Audits: Assisting with select phases of the audit process.
• Project Support: Contributing to various projects, showcasing initiative and creative thinking.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Building relationships with team members and contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Seeking Guidance and Feedback: Proactively requesting guidance and feedback to improve performance.

Job Requirements and Preferences:
• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (minimum 3.0 GPA). Ideally, applicants will be in their 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program. Internships typically occur during winter/spring or summer before graduation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Interest in auditing and a desire for a public accounting career; basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting; ability to research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters; problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong written and verbal communication skills; self-motivation. Before starting full-time, candidates should meet the educational requirements for relevant professional credentials (e.g., CPA license).
