About the Job:

This internship is within the Disney Entertainment transformation team. This team focuses on data-driven initiatives to improve the efficiency of finance teams. The goal is to free up finance professionals’ time, allowing them to concentrate on analysis and strategic decision-making rather than manual data processing. The team works closely with finance teams across various Disney divisions.

Job Responsibilities:

The intern will contribute to projects aimed at enhancing long-term operational efficiency across different segments. Specific tasks will include:

• Researching data, systems, and tools to streamline financial processes.
• Collaborating with internal and external clients to improve teamwork and efficiency within business segments.
• Contributing to multiple projects simultaneously, requiring strong time management and organizational skills.
• Utilizing data analytics to solve complex financial problems.
• Structuring projects and handling ambiguous data effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong academic background: Completed coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration.
Analytical abilities: Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
Project management: Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
Teamwork: Collaborative spirit and ability to work independently.
Data analysis: A data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Currently a Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or have graduated within 6 months of application.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and business intelligence tools.
