Job Description:
This is a part-time operational support role based in NYC, ideal for a Master’s or MBA student (or someone with an equivalent degree). The position involves a variety of tasks designed to support the company’s growth:
• Market Research & Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to inform product and business expansion strategies.
• Content Development: Creating content for various purposes, including due diligence materials, board decks, partnership presentations, investor presentations, and financial models.
• Sales Support: Providing operational support for sales planning and execution.
• Ad Hoc Operations: Handling various ad hoc operational requests, such as procurement and event management.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent self-starter capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking, research, and analytical skills are essential, along with exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail. Comfort with remote work and a rapidly evolving organization is necessary. Passion for Helaina’s mission and prior experience in startups or the food sector (or a demonstrated interest in them) are highly valued. Experience with Agile methodologies, project management tools (Monday, Miro), and Google Drive are considered bonus points. The compensation is $25/hour.
