Communications Intern, Summer 2025 – Purchase, NY

This internship offers hands-on experience within the Communications team at Mastercard, focused on driving programs and activities that build, support and defend Mastercard’s reputation among key internal and external audiences. The team mirrors the business and supports the company’s efforts to expand in payments, extend their services and embrace new networks.

As an intern, you will participate in the tactical execution of Communications activities that support the corporate strategy, including:

• Writing & Copyediting: Contribute to writing and editing various communication materials.
• Media Monitoring: Track and analyze media coverage related to Mastercard.
• Event Staffing: Support the planning and execution of internal and external events.
• Strategic Development: Gain experience in developing communications strategies.
• Account Management: Learn the nuances of managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Social Media: Contribute to social media strategy and execution.
• Media Relations: Gain exposure to the world of media relations.
• Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that engage and inspire Mastercard employees.
