Summer Internship Program

Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding twelve-week summer internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. Internships can be onsite or fully remote in the US. All interns receive a competitive salary, and those relocating to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate customer events, trade shows, and internal events, including:
• Organizing transportation, hotel room blocks, and activity contracts/reservations.
• Creating and distributing communications/invites.
• Connect current Marketing campaigns to event messaging and initiatives.
• Update event data in Excel, Teams, and Salesforce.
• Provide suggestions for creative and enjoyable activities for customers, potential customers, and internal teams.
• Submit requests and review graphics for signage and itineraries.
• Assist with designing and ordering branded promotional giveaways.
• Create summary Power Points and data sheets post-event/trade show.
• Create, distribute, and compile results for event surveys.
• Assist with event shipping, setup, and coordination.
• Assist Sales and Marketing staff with administrative duties, including Salesforce leads, forms, and data management.
• Assist in the creation of channel newsletters.
• Create social media posts for events and trade shows.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• In process of completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Curious with the ability to conduct research independently.
• Creative thinker with the ability to bring new ideas to the team.
• Knowledge of or proficiency with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud) or similar large-scale CRM platform is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator) or Canva is a plus.
• Demonstrates knowledge of audio products is a plus.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.

Pay Transparency:

Shure offers competitive intern compensation based on extensive market analysis and economic best practices. Intern hourly rates vary from $21-$40 per hour, depending on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc.) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc.).
