Aclymate is an early-stage software company that provides a solution for small and medium-sized businesses to become climate leaders. Their software calculates a company’s emissions footprint, helps them understand and reduce it, and offers a selection of offsets for emissions that can’t yet be eliminated. Founded by climate and carbon market experts, Aclymate is a graduate of the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator and recently raised funding to grow and expand their software solution. Their mission is to help fight climate change, and they are looking for passionate individuals to join their team.

Marketing Internship Program

Aclymate is seeking Marketing Interns for Spring 2025 to contribute to their external marketing and branding efforts. The program offers exposure to all aspects of marketing, including strategic direction, creative development, and operational execution. Interns will collaborate with Sales and Product teams and report to the Director of Marketing, with supervision provided by the Marketing Coordinator.

This internship will provide the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize high-quality content.
• Assist with writing, editing, proofreading, and content improvement.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new ways to reach B2B customers committed to climate action.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data for marketing campaigns.
• Support the Marketing Department in various daily activities.

Specialized areas of focus include:

• Podcast Marketing Intern: Responsible for the company’s podcast and promotion via social media. This role will focus on increasing listeners and subscribers through strategic recommendations and reporting on podcast analytics.
• Social Media Intern: Responsible for the company’s social media efforts and monthly email newsletters. This role will ensure a strong web presence by creating and sharing content, researching and engaging with influencers to promote the software solution.
• SEO Content Intern: Responsible for the company’s blog, as well as some video and email marketing. This role will focus on improving SEO through backlink outreach and reporting on SEO analytics.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
• Proficiency in G Suite and knowledge of or willingness to learn Marketing Software such as Hootsuite, Canva, Webflow CMS, etc.
• Comfortable working in a remote work environment
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• In-progress bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or another relevant field
• Basic graphic design skills a plus
• Interest in helping the climate is a BIG plus

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be located in the US
• Must be an undergraduate student during the Spring 2025 semester
• This is an educational (unpaid) internship. If you would like to earn course credit, Aclymate will work with you and your school to meet all guidelines.
• At least 15 hours per week required
