Job Description: Summer Internship Program
The CBS News Internship Program offers a 10-week, paid program designed to provide students with an immersive experience in journalism.
Key Features:
• Immersive Experience: Interns work full-time (36-40 hours per week) across various CBS News broadcasts and departments.
• Career Exploration: The program provides opportunities to explore different careers in journalism.
• Pipeline for Future Opportunities: The program acts as a pipeline for full-time job opportunities.
• Mentorship and Learning: Interns receive mentorship, on-the-job learning, and workshops on crafting resumes and interview skills.
• Perks: Interns enjoy unique networking opportunities, speaker series, social events, and a Paramount+ with Showtime subscription.
Eligibility:
• Juniors, Seniors, or Master’s Students: Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university program and will be Juniors, Seniors, or Master’s students in the fall of 2025.
• Full-Time Availability: Interns must be available to work full-time (5 days a week) for 10 weeks starting in June.
• Hybrid or On-Site Work: Interns will be required to work hybrid or fully on-site for the duration of the program.
• Employment Eligibility: Interns must be eligible to work in the United States as Paramount does not sponsor internships.
