Intern – Communications Job Description:

Get Serious About Fun: As a Nintendo of America Intern, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience with a leading entertainment company. From June through August, you’ll participate in a program that includes mentoring, networking opportunities, and exposure to industry leaders.

Your Role:

• Work with the Executive and Internal Communications team, focusing on effective internal communication throughout the organization.
• Research, coordinate, and author editorial content for release on the internal communications platform.
• Develop internal content plans for game releases and employee communications.
• Curate gaming industry news and manage daily email sends to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the broader Communications team to gain experience integrating Internal and Executive Communications with marketing around Nintendo products.

Requirements:

• 3.0+ GPA
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Familiar with editorial content methodologies (e.g., APA format).
• Knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Nintendo’s products is a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the 10-week summer internship (June – September).

Details:

• This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and is not open to remote status at this time.
• Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
• This internship includes a base pay range of $25 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center.
• Due to the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
