Job Description: Technical Research Intern

This summer 2025 internship is a pipeline for the GE Aerospace Research Edison Program, an intensive development role focused on technical excellence and GE’s core values.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to research projects that advance the future of flight.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-life technical problems.
• Develop research skills in a collaborative environment.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Current or upcoming enrollment in a full-time Masters Degree program at an accredited university in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Willingness to work from the GE Aerospace Research office in Niskayuna, NY.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale.
