Job Description:
Corporate Development Summer MBA Intern
Position Summary:
This highly visible internship within PayPal’s Corporate Development group offers a unique opportunity to contribute to inorganic growth initiatives, working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support Deal Leads: Assist in all phases of the deal process, from ideation and business case development to execution and integration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal deal teams and serve as a liaison with target company management.
• Strategic Analysis: Contribute to sourcing, qualification, strategic rationale, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing/integration planning.
• Idea Generation: Actively identify and qualify new potential acquisition targets from internal and external sources.
Qualifications:
• Passion for technology, finance, and commerce: Enthusiasm for the intersection of these fields.
• Team-oriented and proactive: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, and manage responsibilities.
• Analytical skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and understanding key operational metrics.
• Excellent judgment and communication: Experience interacting with executives and stakeholders, exhibiting strong communication skills.

Program Information:
• Summer 2025 Internship: Open only for Summer 2025. Spring and Fall 2025 internships are not available.
• MBA requirement: Must be pursuing an MBA from an accredited institution.
• Return to school: Must be returning to school in Fall 2025.
• U.S. residency: Must reside in the U.S. during the internship program.
