Job Description: Compliance Surveillance Intern
This 10-week summer internship program provides a hands-on learning experience for students interested in Compliance. The internship offers a comprehensive view of Moody’s business and culture, a chance to build professional and technical skills, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the team.
Responsibilities:
• Support Compliance Surveillance Reviews: Work closely with the New York Compliance Surveillance team to perform testing of ratings processes across global jurisdictions for required public disclosure requirements.
• Test Plan Development & Execution: Assist in preparing test plans and execute testing in accordance with Compliance Surveillance program objectives.
• Enhance Surveillance Program: Collaborate with team members to improve existing surveillance activities and enhance the Surveillance Program.
• Perform Ad-hoc Projects: Complete assigned tasks and ad-hoc projects as directed by the Compliance Surveillance team.
Program Details:
• Duration: June 2nd – August 8th, 2025 (10 weeks)
• Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, New York, 10007, US (hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office)
• Compensation: Anticipated hiring hourly rate of $35 (depending on experience, education, level, skills, and location)
Qualifications:
• University junior or senior year student in business, accounting or other finance related discipline
• Experience in finance related sector is an advantage
• Graduation date of December 2025 – June 2027
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
• Highly organized and efficient, with an ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team oriented
