Job Description

This internship offers a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of manufacturing, where you can apply your STEM education. You’ll contribute to developing cutting-edge manufacturing processes by:

Collaborating on the design and optimization of factory layouts.
Tailoring machinery to meet production needs.
Innovating procedures that enhance manufacturing efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

Enrolled/pursuing a Master’s degree OR PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field.
3+ months of educational or industry experience.

Important Notes:

• This application is for Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 internships. You must be available to start work during this time frame.
• Job location will be based out of one of Intel’s US manufacturing or technology development sites (Oregon, California, New Mexico, Arizona).
• Job location and modality of work will be communicated at time of offer.
• This position is not available in the state of Colorado.

About Intel’s Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) Business Group:

MPE is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel’s revenue. They deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
