Job Description
Data Science Intern
• Location: Wilmington, DE (remote work available within US)
• Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Term: 3-month assignment between May-August 2025
Responsibilities:
• Develop predictive models using Microsoft Azure platform capabilities.
• Write data preparation and analysis routines in Python using pandas and scikit-learn packages.
• Participate in data set design and statistical modeling discussions.
• Learn how to integrate process control solutions with data science models.
Requirements:
• Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above at time of assignment.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemical or Controls Engineering or other similar fields.
• Programming experience with one or more of Python, Matlab, R, Java, C++, C#.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3.0 GPA or above.
• Proficiency in analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
