Job Description: Summer 2025 Undergraduate Internship
Blue Origin is seeking undergraduate interns for their Summer 2025 internship cohort. Interns will leverage their academic knowledge, project experience, and degree program foundations to perform professional-level work in support of their assigned functional area. This internship is a 12-week program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply academic knowledge and skills: Interns will utilize their education and experience to contribute to real-world projects and tasks within their assigned functional area.
• Professional-level work: Interns will perform tasks and responsibilities at a professional level, contributing meaningfully to the team’s efforts.
Internship Duration:
• The internship program lasts for 12 weeks.
Application Timeline:
• The formal application window for Summer 2025 internships has closed.
• However, Blue Origin encourages candidates to submit applications for consideration of any unfilled roles.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Academic Status: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Experience: Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing).
• Availability: Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Skills: Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passion for space.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience: Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience demonstrating development of both technical skills relevant to the internship and leadership qualities.
• Hands-on: Hands-on project experience.
• Engagement: Co-curricular engagement.
Compensation:
• The compensation for on-site WA, CO, and CA applicants is between $19.54 and $28.67 hourly.
