CNN Enterprise Internship

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact stories for CNN. You will be directly involved in the process of crafting stories that are essential for audiences to understand.

Here are the specifics of the internship:

Location: Atlanta (ATL) or New York City (NYC)
Dates: January 27th – April 18th (12 weeks)
Hours: 16-24 hours per week, in a hybrid capacity
Pay: $19 per hour USD

Key responsibilities:

• Understand the process of crafting TV and text stories.
• Contribute to story vetting and research.
• Assist in guiding stories from concept to production (for TV or online).
• Develop research, interview, and production skills.
• Contribute to stories for CNN, both on air and online.

Qualifications:

• Passion for news
• Self-motivation
• Ability to multitask
• Experience in news writing (essential)
• Writing samples (published bylines or video pieces)
• Strong understanding of how to spot and tell a compelling news story
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program (proof required)
• Rising Junior or Senior
• 3.0 or above cumulative GPA
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Important Notes:

• Applications close on Sunday, October 20th.
• Relocation is not provided.
• Interviews will take place from October through early December.
