Job Description: Legal Intern
This internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic legal environment at Canon Production Printing Germany GmbH & Co. KG.
Responsibilities:
• Support the legal department and specialist departments in processing and solving legal issues, including:
• Drafting contracts, particularly in the areas of development, production, sales, international purchasing, general contract law, copyright law, (software) licensing law, and data protection law.
• Handle legal matters across various civil and commercial law areas.
• Prepare internal memos, expert opinions, and decision papers.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Contribute to projects and research.
• Prepare expert opinions.
• Independently perform advisory mandates.
Requirements:
• Completed first state examination in law.
• Ideally, initial experience or strong interest in contract law, IT, and data protection law.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.

• Ability to grasp, present, and solve complex economic and legal issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and a strong service orientation.
• Confident appearance, negotiating skills, and strong communication skills.
