Sustainable Design & Engineering Internship
This internship offers the chance to join the Walt Disney Imagineering Sustainability team and contribute to the company’s commitment to sustainable practices. As an intern, you will be involved in:
• Developing sustainability ideas for the built environment: Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to brainstorm and implement eco-friendly solutions for Disney projects.
• Analyzing and integrating sustainable design: Working with project teams to ensure environmental impact is minimized in all stages of construction and operation.
• Contributing to resort-wide sustainability: Coordinating with master planning teams to develop and implement sustainable initiatives across entire resorts.
• Collecting and analyzing project data: Assisting in documenting data related to emissions, water usage, construction waste, and embodied carbon of building materials.
• Advancing sustainability initiatives: Participating in brainstorming sessions and actively encouraging a culture of sustainability within Walt Disney Imagineering.
• Engaging in environmental events: Representing Walt Disney Imagineering in events focused on environmental sustainability across The Walt Disney Company.
