What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Setup: Set up new projects in the accounting system and validate billing terms against contract requirements.
• Usage Processing: Upload or enter billing-related usage information into the accounting system.
• Invoice Management: Prepare and distribute routine customer invoices and statements.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding billing and invoice questions, completing vendor applications as requested.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audit requests related to invoices, customer accounts, and accounts receivable records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of accounting principles, suitable for starting an accounting career.
• Experience: 0 to 4 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or similar experience.
• Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel; strong attention to detail and accuracy; clear communication skills for internal and external interactions; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
