What You’ll Actually Do
• Accuracy: Maintain financial accuracy by recording and examining journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Closings: Support monthly and annual closing activities by preparing documentation, resolving discrepancies, and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Analysis: Review financial results to identify meaningful variances or patterns that guide planning and operational decisions.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors by supplying records, answering questions, and supporting compliance efforts.
• Improvement: Strengthen accounting workflows by monitoring controls, improving procedures, and helping maintain consistent documentation standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial reporting principles, reconciliations, and internal control practices.
• Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience, including working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and data entry.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for working with financial data sets and reports, along with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Oracle, and additional experience in complex accounting environments.
