Project Billing Administrator | ORC

• Mission: This person owns maintaining accurate project financials, client invoicing, and supporting revenue recognition to ensure smooth project operations and financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Setup: Set up and maintain projects in ORC’s ERP, keeping contract values, budgets, and billing terms accurate.
• Client Billing: Prepare and issue client invoices and follow through on collections.
• Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile project financials and resolve billing questions with Project Managers and clients.
• Month-End Support: Support month-end close, revenue recognition, and project reporting.
• Cost Tracking: Track subconsultant invoices and project costs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Core domain knowledge in project-based accounting or billing.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of accounting or project billing experience. For Project Accountant 2, a minimum of 3 years of experience is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliation work; Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented; Clear and professional communication; Strong service mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint.
