What You’ll Actually Do
• Transformation: Oversee complex P&C / Health insurance transformation programs from strategic goal definition through technical and business design to the implementation of modern core insurance solutions and successful go-live, including conceiving and owning target architectures.
• Steering: Manage software vendors, implementation partners, and other stakeholders, leading interdisciplinary, international Deloitte teams to execute demanding digitalization and modernization projects.
• Excellence: Ensure the business, methodological, and qualitative excellence of all implementation artifacts such as business and IT concepts, target architectures, roadmaps, and business cases, applying modern digital technologies and AI-powered tools.
• Stakeholder Management: Actively manage clients and stakeholders at senior and top management levels, which includes preparing decisions, managing dependencies, overseeing risk and escalation, and acting as a sparring partner for design, prioritization, and solution decisions.
• Portfolio Development: Advance and strategically position the consulting portfolio in Core Solutions & Insurance Transformation, contributing to thought leadership, shaping methodologies and assets, and actively participating in presales, proposal development, and client acquisition.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, preparing for a Manager or Senior Manager role focused on complex transformation within the insurance sector.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional and project experience in complex transformation, introduction, or implementation programs of core insurance systems, ideally in a leading project or program role within consulting.
• Skills: Deep expertise in common Core Insurance Solutions (Guidewire, Faktor10, adesso insurance solutions, msg.Insurance Suite, SAP FS), a profound understanding of modern technical and business target architectures, comprehensive grasp of end-to-end insurance processes, complex system landscapes, and regulatory frameworks (P&C / Health), and demonstrated experience in managing demanding stakeholders and decision-making bodies at senior and management levels.
• Bonus: High affinity for digital technologies and strategic, pragmatic experience in using AI-powered and generative AI tools for analysis, decision support, automation, and the further development of insurance and transformation processes, with the ability to deploy AI as a strategic enabler for transformations and identify value creation potentials.
