LHH is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join their client’s growing team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time opportunity for a new graduate looking to launch their accounting career in a supportive environment. The role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the month-end close process. The hiring manager is dedicated to mentorship, offering an excellent opportunity for staff development.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $65000–$70000 yearly
• Mission: This person will contribute to foundational accounting processes and support the team’s growth through accurate financial record-keeping.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Prepare reconciliations for multiple banking accounts.
• Process: Prepare and post standard and recurring journal entries.
• Complete: Finish account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
• Support: Assist in the month-end close process.
• Review: Examine accounts payable invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required for this Entry-Level position.
• Experience: 0-1 years of accounting experience, including relevant internships.
• Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, Financial Reconciliation, Journal Entry Management, Accounts Payable review.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
