The Tone:
This is an Accounting Internship at Christianson CPAs & Consultants, located in-person. Christianson is a firm dedicated to developing leaders at all levels, providing comprehensive guidance across core industries such as renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction. This role is vital for supporting clients with essential financial services, including compliance, consulting, accounting system solutions, grant writing, biofuels benchmarking, accounting and attestation, and tax preparation. What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare tax returns and execute accounting and attestation projects for clients across diverse industries including renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction.
• Contribute ideas and perspectives to team projects, supporting clients with services such as compliance, consulting services, and accounting system solutions.
• Engage with a dedicated mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions to foster career growth.
• Network with Christianson staff at social events, participate in office and community activities, and build lasting professional relationships within the firm.
• Identify and carry out additional projects as assigned, gaining broad exposure to various firm services and operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0; willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills; strong technical aptitude and skillset; demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management; ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
