This is a full-time Principal Financials Functional Consultant role at Workday, part of the APAC Financials team. What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Design & Deployment: Work closely with customer project teams to design, configure, and deploy functional requirements using Workday’s product solutions.
• Client Implementation Support: Understand client business requirements, configure the solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, and assist clients in testing the solution.
• System Integration & Data Conversion: Facilitate the conversion of legacy data into Workday and assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
• Best Practices & Mentorship: Ensure clients take advantage of Workday best practices, maintain referenceability once in production, and help mentor new consultants.
• Expertise & Reporting: Become an expert in the Workday Financial Management product suite, maintain Workday Certifications, stay familiar with the Workday roadmap, and provide status reports to the Engagement Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior career level with deep functional knowledge in Financials software solutions, specifically covering areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting.
• Experience: At least 7 years of functional experience in Financials software solutions or systems, combined with 7 years of consulting experience. Additionally, 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise applications like Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, or Ceridian is required.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, robust business analysis and requirements gathering abilities, validated project management experience, and the capacity to quickly learn new technology through both instruction and self-training.
• Bonus: Prior experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously.
